I look forward to connecting with passionate people.
I believe it is not enough to know a person through his or her profile online. Interview is always necessary for really knowing a person. Therefore I think online profile is just for reference. Internet is not made to make friends but made to get and share information and you have to judge the authenticity of information yourself.
