The bathroom of today is totally different comparing with passed years. Considering the new architectures of bathrooms and the evolution of sanitary and electrical equipments, French low-voltage installation standard NFC 15-100 has been amended in November 2008. The purpose of this amendment is mainly related to part 7-701 (Electrical installations in locations including containing a fixed bath or shower). This amendment will become compulsory 6 months later after its publication.
Products concerned by this amendment are all electrical equipments used in bathroom like, for example: bathroom heaters, shower cabinets, luminaries for bathrooms, mirror with lightings...
